Red Wine and Chocolate weekend takes place on the long weekend prior to President's Day. Since it is close to Valentines Day, it can be a romantic weekend to get the fires rekindled. What a great way to start or restart the romance than to spend time sampling red wines and sweet wines with some delicious chocolate flavors. All while enjoying a special weekend with the one person who makes you as euphoric as the wine and chocolate!

Experience the true flavor of luscious red wines and ports in the tasting rooms of the wineries when they are paired with chocolate delicacies. Find newly released wines and old favorites during this 3-day Presidents’ Day weekend event.

COMPLIMENTARY tastes of great wines, decadent chocolates, and weekend specials!* (Visitors must have a wine glass to taste. *Some wineries may charge a small tasting fee.) All 17 wineries participate in this time-honored weekend event. Wineries open 10am to 5pm, with some open until 6pm.

Enjoy ... Piety Flats Chocolates Piety Flats Winery offers chocolates that pair excellently with our fine wines ... Merlot and Syrah and Merc Red. Made by San Francisco Chocolate, these treats are very, very tasty. They match the amount of cocoa with the appropriate wine. The Syrah has 61% Cocoa and the Merlot has 58%.
